Canopy Tour Description.

Puente de IslasAt Las Cañadas Campground we have taken the enjoyment of our environment to a whole new level. We will provide you with excitement through the most popular extreme adventure in the world: the Canopy Tour.
The Canopy Tour at Las Cañadas is the first and only of its kind in Baja. The tour includes five zip lines of different lengths and five conceptual hanging bridges, each one, taking you through a different challenge. This activity will trigger all kinds of emotions in the outdoors ranging from hiking to the adrenaline rush at the descent, all the while surrounded by the most amazing sceneries.
The Canopy Tour is NOT included in the admission fee to the park. Please ask at the entrance for the Canopy- Tour’s pormotion of the day.

Central Tower

Torre de SalidaThe starting and ending point of this tour is at the central tower, which is almost 35 feet tall.
The total distance of the tour from the departure point to the central tower is of over two miles! Including the five zip lines, the five suspension bridges and the short walks between each bridge.
The entire adventure lasts for about an hour. If you are looking forward to do something new this summer or any weekend, come and experience this adventure ! ! !

Zip Lines

From the air you will be able to see the swimming pools and the Pirate´s Cove.
Wave to your family at their campsite from up above. Dare to glide along a zip line which is more then a quarter mile long, at a height of 100 feet!!! and going at a speed of over 25 mph.

Hanging Bridges

Puente de BarrilesDo you have the courage to cross them? Each hanging bridge requires determination to cross it. Las Cañadas Campground offers five hanging bridges with different difficulty levels: two traditional bridges, a “Tibetan Bridge”, a “Barrel Bridge” and the fabulous “Islands Bridge”.

Traditional Bridge
Enjoy the view of the lake and the mountains and get ready to face the challenges that await for you on the tour.

Tibetan Bridge
Challenge yourself. Prove your determination and courage as you enjoy the height and test your balance.

Bridge of Barrels
Forget the fear! Enjoy the height! Test your physical ability while you cross this bridge.

Islands Bridge
This bridge will test your coordination skills, balance and speed. No doubt that this bridge will challenge your emotions and determination. Only the brave dare to cross it!

Keep your hands free for you will be using them. The type of emotions that you will feel in this tour make it unsuitable for people who are pregnant, have back, hip or neck problems or any other physical ailment or health problem. It is recommended only for people that have the strength and ability to walk uphill on a small mountain trail and climb up the stairs without assistance.
The range of weight for a person to take this tour is from 88 lb (40 kilos) to 240 lb (110 kilos). The ability to understand and follow instructions and observe safety rules is required.
