Motorcycle and ATVs Route
Bring your bike or ATV and use the facilities designated for that activity at no extra charge.
It is necessary to respect the space for these activities due to the fact that Las Cañadas is a family friendly camp.

If you want the extra convenience of an ATV, you can rent one at a reasonable price per hour or day.

Ecotourism Tour
During these tours, you will appreciate the beautiful natural scenery. The Las Animas Canyon is part of the Agua Blanca fault, considered the longest active fault in the northwestern Baja California Peninsula. This fault line is
about 250 kilometers long.
The Las Animas Canyon was used for almost 168 years as the only path from the
south to Ensenada. It was used for the first time by the expedition group of Fray Junípero Serra and Gaspar de Portola in 1769. The ecotourism tour also provides the public with information on the biology and ecology of the
place. The emphasis is made on those species that are in imminent danger of extinction. Another interesting part
of the tours is that you can experience the sense of mystery as you hear the phenomenon of sound reflection,
commonly known as echo. There are special activities for school groups covering information about the history of
Baja California, the ecology, geology, physics and environment of the region.
